Data and Methodology
InstaInflu organizes publicly available creator information and presents statistics intended to support discovery and general research.
Data sources
Depending on availability, information may come from:
- Public social-media profiles.
- Public creator websites.
- Publicly accessible posts and account information.
- Creator or representative submissions.
- Licensed or authorized data providers.
- InstaInflu calculations and classifications.
Estimated metrics
Some statistics may be estimates rather than measurements supplied directly by a social-media platform or creator.
For example, an engagement rate may be calculated using publicly visible interactions divided by a publicly visible audience figure. The exact calculation may vary depending on data availability, account type, and the period analyzed.
Data limitations
Statistics may be affected by:
- Delays between collection and publication.
- Deleted, hidden, archived, or unavailable posts.
- Private or restricted account information.
- Changes made by social-media platforms.
- Rounding and sampling.
- Sudden follower growth or decline.
- Incomplete or temporarily unavailable data.
For these reasons, results from InstaInflu may differ from analytics available directly to a creator or through another provider.
Rankings
Rankings are generated from the information and criteria available to InstaInflu. A ranking does not represent a recommendation, endorsement, assessment of character, or guarantee of commercial performance.
Follower count alone does not establish influence, authenticity, suitability, or campaign performance.
Verification
Unless a profile is expressly marked as verified by InstaInflu, we have not confirmed the identity of the person controlling the relevant social-media account.
A verification indicator used on another platform does not necessarily mean that InstaInflu has independently verified the creator.
